MEETINGS 2017 to put NZ on show

MEETINGS is a two-day national business tourism event for the conference, meetings, events, exhibition and travel incentive industry.

The event has been happening for the past 20 years, enabling attendees to meet exhibitors from across New Zealand all in one or two days.

Sue Sullivan, Conventions and Incentives New Zealand (CINZ) Chief Executive, says they’re inviting everyone responsible for meetings and events to spend a few valuable hours at MEETINGS 2017.

The exhibition is being held at Auckland’s ASB Showgrounds on 31 May and 1 June.

“Event organisers can attend as day buyers on either day. They will have access to 198 exhibitors from 19 New Zealand regions spread across two pavilions and can roam at their leisure,” says Sullivan.

Another drawcard for buyers at the event is the new Education Hub.

The lounge-style space has a coffee cart, seating and will be a go-to place for MEETINGS visitors to work and network. Millennium Hotels and Resorts are also putting on a gourmet lunch, with entertainment at the Celebrity Speakers’ Showcase.

Day buyers also have two options for MEETINGS and online registration is free.

“This is a great opportunity to learn more about each region by visiting the Convention Bureau stand for each area, and explore new ideas,’ concludes Sullivan.
