Business Events Expo one week away

Viaduct Events Centre Viaduct Events Centre

The Business Events Expo, now one week away, is reporting strong interest and registrations from corporate travel agents, group tour operators and others from the travel trade, organisers report.

Co-director Paul Hailes says the opportunity to connect with both domestic and offshore operators in one day at the Viaduct Events Centre is obviously resonating with the market.

"We have more than 220 visitors registered now, ranging from corporate buyers to association executives and professional conference organisers."

"At this show a attendee will be able to talk to an accommodation supplier in Queenstown, then a DMC (destination management company) in Fiji, and a national tourism office Southeast Asia all in the space of less than an hour."

Hailes emphasises that there is still time to register and receive a link to the event’s app. That in turn will unlock opportunities to make appointments direct with exhibitors (from one to 21 or anything in-between) and to win a growing selection of prizes on the day.

The event will also include talks and workshops, a presentation by high performance coach Gordon Walker, plus a networking cocktail hour sponsored by Napier Conferences & Events at 5pm.

Doors open at 9am on Tuesday 21 November with pre-scheduled appointments (optional) beginning at 10am.
