The finalists for NZEA Event Awards 2024

The NZ Events Association has announced the finalists for the 2024 NZEA New Zealand Event Awards.

With 69 finalists across 17 categories, this year's awards celebrate the innovation, creativity, and resilience of New Zealand's event industry.

The winners will be revealed at the gala dinner on 27 August 2024 in Palmerston North, coinciding with the annual events industry conference, Eventing the Future, with 250 event professionals from around New Zealand expected to attend.

Arthur Klap, one of the awards judges, remarked on the exceptional standard of entries this year, noting an increased consistency and quality across the board.

Elaine Linnell, General Manager of NZEA, echoed these sentiments, expressing pride in the dedication and innovation demonstrated by event professionals across the country. "The industry is still recovering, and to see not only the quality, but the passion come through in the entries is an inspiration. We are incredibly proud to showcase the outstanding achievements of our finalists. The calibre of entries this year is a testament to the hard work and creativity of those who continue to push boundaries and deliver exceptional experiences."

The gala dinner is not only a celebration of our finalists and winners, but an important networking opportunity open to everyone in the events sector.

About NZEA: The New Zealand Events Association (NZEA) is your independent events

industry body; leading, celebrating and standing up for every aspect of the events sector.

The Association was established as the New Zealand Association of Event Professionals

(NZAEP) in response to industry demand for a recognised body to represent the burgeoning

events industry in New Zealand. The Association's principle was to bring professionals

together to focus on the industry as a whole and to act as a voice for that industry and its

members.
