The 79 room hotel located in the heart of Auckland’s CBD and officially opened under the Fable banner last Friday and is the flagship property in Auckland for the group. Chris Dickinson, cluster GM says that there are plans to broaden its offering in 2022 with the planned addition of two conference rooms, catering for up to 80 delegates which will complement existing facilities.
"Cooke’s Restaurant & Bar pays homage to the eatery of the same name in the first Windsor House, with a special focus on using only the freshest local organic produce, a tailored wine list and carefully crafted cocktail trolley." says Dickinson, and "The iconic High Tea service and sumptuous all-day dining has set Cooke’s on the map for ‘must-try’ dining in the central city".
“Our team is passionate about looking after our guests and both brands have a shared sense of what makes an extraordinary stay, with outstanding attention to detail,” Dickinson. “Bringing to life the signature ‘twist’ of the Fable brand experience to complement our exceptional guest service is an exciting evolution for this well-loved and globally-celebrated hotel.” he says.
"Fable Auckland aspires to balance the careful consistency that one expects from an international-standard boutique hotel, with bespoke, uncommon twists that elevate a guests’ experience into something rare and memorable. Fable - a story that stays with you."
Positive environmental contributions are also a key focus for the hotel, which holds the Qualmark Gold Enviro Award that recognises best practice in sustainability and environmental impact.
