Organised by Fortis Events, the conference spread over seven days and started with two days conferencing at Rydges in Christchurch. Delegates then travelled in two coaches to Tekapo, where they had another day of business at Peppers Bluewater Resort.
Delegates then moved on to Mt Cook Aoraki for optional activities before heading to Queenstown, where the final dinner was held on the TSS Earnslaw. Fortis Events managing director Joelle Talbot says the NZ Law Conference is often held offshore and has been to places like Hawaii and Japan in the past.
“The group really wanted to support different communities this year and loved the idea of a ‘touring’ conference,” she adds.
Delegates flew into Christchurch and out of Queenstown, travelling by road to the various destinations.
