A group of New Zealand buyers were hosted last week by Business Events Australia on a famil of Cairns & Port Douglas.

Port Douglas and Daintree is the only place on earth where two world heritage listed jewels meet, the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Forest.  Cairns is renowned for its tropical climate and easy access to the Great Barrier Reef and Wet Tropics rainforest and offers a combination of natural beauty, picturesque coastal and rainforest villages and five-star hotels.

Highlights of the three days included Nunu Restaurant Palm Cove, accommodation at Daintree Forest’s Silky Oaks Lodge and Back Country Bliss River Drifting. A day on the Great Barrier Reef included a tour with Quicksilver Cruises, helicopter flight back capturing spectacular aerial views of the reef and then a Sailaway Sunset Sail.

A Mossman Gorge Dreamtime walk and overnight at the five-star Crystalbrook Riley in Cairns completed a busy schedule.

There will be further coverage of the famil in Meeting Newz July edition.
